Fitz Roy and Perito Moreno glacier

To the southwest of the Patagonia it is located The Glaciers National Park, an area privileged by its natural characteristics, that contains one of the major scenic wonder of the world. This park have itself constituted by the Argentine lake and its outskirts. A landscape defined by high and abrupt summits, lakes and glacial. The Argentine lake owes its name in homage to the Argentine flag, owed the turquoise color of the water, separated of the sky by the white stripe of ice. The advance and subsequent break of the P. Moreno glacier usually happens each three to fifteen years. In its front the ice have a height of more than 60 m above the water surface. In the last section of the Patagonian Andes, where the continental ice ends, emerge covered emerge mountain covered with ice: Torre, Fitz Roy or Chaltén. The flora is the it is the magalleanian area type, lengas and cherries forest, with the cooperation of the cypress of the guagtecas. Among the animals of the area it may be commonly found pumas, huemules, eagles, guanacos, snakes (yarará-ñata) and ñandú.

All the programs begin and finish in the El Calafate airport (only Full Patagonia adventure finishes in Ushuaia). Guaranteed starting dates for the tours are all Saturdays from October to April



Patagonia horseback riding: duration 8 days
From October to April
These program is designed to allow us to ride a horse by the Tunel River valley area and the surrounding fields to the Viedma Glacier. This Tour offers wonderful views of the Fitz Roy, Torre and Grande Mounts, and the front side of the extremely large Viedma glacier. Daily hose rides are complemented with short treks to accede to some viewpoints which are not allowed to reach directly by horse
