through 70 km. of mountains ands lakes until we reach the
foot of Mount Tronador known as “Pampa Linda”. This
is where we begin our trek, bordering the “Castaño Overo”,
a river which descends from the glacier. We cross the river
using a rustic bridge; here we begin our ascent surrounded
by extravagant “Coihues” trees. We start getting higher
and higher, zigzagging through the forest in order to make
the walk easier, always enjoying the remarkable view that
Mount Tronador offers. We leave the forest behind and
finally at almost 2000 meters above sea level we arrive
to the Otto Meiling mountain hut where we spend the
night.

Day 2:
Breakfast.
The next morning accompanied by a guide we learn how to
walk on mountain terrain, in order to properly walk along
the glacier (optional activity). We return to the refuge
for lunch, after a short break we begin our descent to “Pampa
Linda” where vehicles await us. We arrive in Bariloche at
about 7:30 pm.
