From
the steppe to the Andes through different echo environments
combing with adventure activities with low physical demand,
no previous training required. At night we return to the hotel
where we have dinner and stay for the night until we start
a new adventure day

Itinerary: duration 8
days
Day 1:
Tour
around the Municipal Llao-Llao Park, a so-called intangible
area that protects the evergreen coihue (Nothofagus
dombeyi) forest. Hiking through internal trails of coihues
and colihue cane (Chusquea couleou). Driving back to
Bariloche city for overnight stay at a hotel .
Day 2:
Departure to the Río Pichileufu area in 4WD vehicles.
In the afternoon of Day 1 and during the morning of Day 2
we will visit places with rupestrian paintings --vestiges
of the mapuches, the native inhabitants of our area--, with
traces of volcanic times in mountain slopes covered by
volcanic ash, and with petrified woods and column-like
rocky formations. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day
3:
Ñirihuau, Buitreras, Valle del Ñirihuau. We will go
from Villa Llanquín to the valley of the Río Ñirihuau. We
will head off from a settler's property to the steppe plains
and we will start acquiring knowledge of the transition forest.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day
4:
Chall - Hua - Co valley. Refugio Neumeyer. Scenic lookout
over the Ñirihuau, Valle de los Perdidos. Transfer to
Pampa Linda. Overnight stay at Hostería Pampa Linda .

Day 5:
Horseback ride up Mount Tronador plus an approximate one-hour
trek to Refugio Meiling, a mountain shelter erected between
glaciers Castaño Overo and Alerce. Descent to Pampa Linda
in the afternoon. Overnight stay at Hostería Pampa Linda.

Day 6:
We
will descent the Río Manso in duckies and travel downstream
to Lago Hess. After crossing the lake, we will travel downriver
on the Manso again until the upper part of the Cascada los
Alerces. We will visit the waterfall and ride our vehicles
back to Bariloche for the overnight stay.
Day 7:
Layover day. Optionals: visit to the museum of the Patagonia,
shopping tour, and the like. Overnight stay at hotel .
Day 8:
Transfer out, or combination to Chile, or ........
Note:
Transfer out, or combined travel on the lakes route to Chile,
or ....... Days 7 -8 may be used to combine with a trip on
Route 40, Chaltén, Paine, Ushuaia, or other destination
Included services: hotel accommodation. Three (3) lunches
and one (1) pic-nic lunch. Transportation all transfers. Expert
trekking guide, horseback riding and duckies equipment and
guiding.
Not included: Dinner.
Personal gear (clothing, shoes, backpacks). Medical or any
other kind of insurance. Tips. Entrance fee to National Parks
($12.- Tronador Mt. entrance fee).
Safety note: Medical assistance
is NOT included. However, trekking guides do carry basic first
aid kit and VHF communication equipment in case any emergency
situation arises. Health certificate, issued by a physician
who certifies physical fitness is strongly recommended, especially
for those with sedentary habits.
NOTE: Eco-Family may modidy itineraries or suspend
activities due to weather conditions or any other security
reason for group members that justifies such decision. Family
groups are strongly advised not to bring children under nine
years of age to the program
