The use of the forest environment in prehistoric times:
Geological, climate, plant and animal life changes towards
the present landscape. Early settlers 13000 years ago: hunters
of extinct fauna. General structure of the Patagonian prehistoric
cultural sequence until the arrival of the white man.

Location and brief ethnical description of Patagonia inhabitants:
upon the arrival of the white man: northern and southern tehuelches;
mapuches.
Symbolism: What is symbolic and what imaginary. How did
the native cultures express it. Fundamentals of rupestrian
art.
Disturbance of local ethnic groups: general introduction
to the Campaņa del Desierto (The Conquest of the desert).
The descendants of the natives at present.
European immigration. - Creation of the National Park.
Men´s
interaction with our landscape: culture multisport tour
(October to April)
In spring and summer
season you may trek through different high Andean
ecosystems observing the multiple flora of the area. This
region is also suitable for horseback riding with several
difficulty levels of trails through forests and steppe. There
are beautiful rivers with rapids classified between class
I to class V, you can navigate this rivers with rafts
or duckies (inflatable kayaks). The granite spires of
the Andean cordillera offers the opportunity to start with
climbing. Combining all this activities with cultural sites,
visiting local people, learning about their way of living,
cave paintings and archeology sites. With camping and mountain
hut overnight stay give us the perfect combination
for a great culture multisport in Patagonia.
We offer two options with hotel or camping lodging and
physical difficulty level for experts and leisure adventurers.

Manso river one day tour
(FIELD TRIP 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. thorough the whole year) An
interdisciplinary work joining anthropology, history, ecology,
ethnopschiatry and psychoanalysis to take into consideration
the 'other cultural being' understanding culture in its natural
environment and with its intercultural relationships. Field
trip to lower Manso river valley and Gutiérrez and
Mascardi lake. There is also a previous introductory lecture.
